Date - October 6th/7th 2012 at BOP
Districts - North Harbour, Auckland, Bay of Plenty and Waikato.
Teams - Each team comprises of 8 Master’s players over the age of 40 at the date of the tournament.
Format – The format is round robin ‘off the stick’ match play. Scoring is based on 2 points for a team win, 1 point for team draw with individual match wins to count in the case of a tie. If a result has not been obtained following the first two criteria, the trophy is shared.
Additional details – At the conclusion of this event the Freyberg Masters team for the district is named.
