It was a tough week for the 2010 Champions at the 2011 Junior Interprovincial. With a few players unavailable it was a somewhat experienced side that defended the title at Cambridge. Despite all players acquitting themselves well with some great individual wins the team could just not quite get enough points against the traditionally strong districts of Waikato, Auckland, Bay of Plenty and Man / Wang despite many of the matches going to the wire. All in all it will be a very good learning experience for the team. Waikato sealed the 2011 event when some final hole heroics saw them defeat Harbour in the final match 5-3.
