North Harbour won the Masters Quadrangular for the fourth straight year at Hamilton Golf Club on September 24th and 25th. The team halved their match 4 all against a very strong Bay of Plenty in the first round. In round 2 the team recorded a comfortable 6-2 win against Waikato. This meant that the team would once again win the competition if they defeated Auckland the next day in the final match. The match was a close fought battle but in the end North Harbour prevailed by a score of 4 1/2 to 3 1/2 to win the trophy for the fourth straight year.
