Located on the Whenuapai Air Base, the RNZAF Auckland Golf Club is an 18 hole layout measuring approximately 5,100 metres for men and 4,750 metres for women. Current membership is at its limit of 550 members. The club has a friendly "country" feel about it with a good social atmosphere. The primarily flat course has a number of unique features rarely encountered elsewhere ie an explosives storage facility and aircraft movements, all contributing to make this a very interesting course to play. Green fee players must be accompanied by a member or a defence employee.
